dyItseemsfromtheby-electionresultsvoterslikedthem.Canadianslikecharismaticleaders.Trudeausfatherdemonstratedthatdramatically.IsJustinTrudeauapersonofsubstanceCanheleadourcoun-tryPeoplewillbewatchingforhisnextmovestodecidethat.InthelatestpollsTrudeauwasaheadinmostofthecountryexceptAlbertawiththeNDPcontinuingstronginQue-bec.TrudeauhasledbothHarperandMulcairinpollsforthelast14months.Heisthebigtargetnow.Hehassuf-feredscathingattackadsfromtheCon-servativesthatobviouslyhadnoimpact.Watchformorenastyanti-Trudeaurheto-ricfromMulcairinParliamentandmorederogatoryTrudeauadsontelevisioninthemonthstocome.Againhowhecanhandleallthatandevenpossiblyturnittoadvantagewillbetelling.HerearethenumbersInFortMcMurray-AthabascaConser-vativeDavidYurdigawhohasaback-groundincommunitypoliticswaselectedwith5945votes47ofthevotesig-nicantlylowerthanthelandslide21988votes71.8ofthevoteearnedbyfor-merMPBrianJeaninthe2011generalelection.LiberalKyleHarriethaaman-agerfortheFortMcMurrayMtisplacedastrongsecondwith35.3ofthevote4491votesupfromhispartys10inthe2011generalelection.TheNDPsLoriMcDanielwhoworksatSuncorre-ceived1449votes.TheFortMcMurray-Athabascaridingcurrentlyhas83647eligiblevoters.ItwillbesplitintotworidingsforthenextfederalelectiontobeheldinOctober2015althoughsomearepredictingSte-phenHarperwillsetasidetheelectionlawandcalltheelectionearlier.TheConservativesnowhaveaparlia-mentarymajorityof162seatstheNDPhave98andLiberals37theBlocQub-coisfourtheGreenpartytwowhiletheremainingfourbelongtoindependents.PartingGiftparishionersMaryandGermainBourkeofFortSmithweregiftedwithspecialthanksfortheircommitmenttotheCatholicchurchcommunitybyFatherPaulPayyapillycentreduringthepriestslastmassonSunday.ThegiftisaphotoofPopeFrancis.PhotoMeaganWohlberg
